SDGs Initiatives

SDGs, or Sustainable Development Goals, are a "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" that was
unanimously selected by more than 150 Head Members of States who participated at the United Nations Summit
in September 2015. The SDGs are 17 goals consisting of 169 targets, with the aim that the world shares to
implement a balance of three aspects: economy, society, and environment, for all countries, including
developed and developing nations.
These cover a wide range of issues, from poverty and starvation to
environmental issues, economic growth, and gender. It aims to achieve a social infrastructure by 2030
where people can live humanely by protecting the global environment while pursuing wealth and emphasizing
"not leaving anyone behind."
Certified in the Hyogo Industrial SDGs Certification by Hyogo Prefecture.
In January 2025, We Taiyo Brush was certified in the Advanced stage, the second of three stages of the Hyogo Industrial SDGs Certification.
This program certifies companies actively contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.
Only 25 companies were selected for the Advanced Stage out of 132 participating companies. Looking ahead, we aim to achieve the highest level — the Gold Stage — by further strengthening our initiatives toward achieving the SDGs and working with our local community to realize a sustainable future.
